Reports adverse reactions tomedications or heatnents in accordance with the policy regardingthe administration of medications or treatments in accordance withthe policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensedregistered nurse.4.1.7 Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, andinterprets and records electronic displays, such as- intracranialpr€ssures, central venous pressures, pulmonary arlery pressures and4.1.1E Monitors catheters, Ieads and tubing for proper placement andfunctioning4.1.19 Initiates connective action whenever information from monitoring /file suppose equipment shows adverse symptomatically.4.1.20 Acts as patient advocate by supporting the basic rights, values andbeliefs ofthe patient.4,l,Zl Communications to family / significant others appropriate information patients condition.4,1.22 Performs other position-rclaled duties as assigned, depending onassignment setting.4,1.23 Participates in Nursing Continuous equality improvement initiatives,in – service education programs, unit meeting and committeefunctions as assigned.4.1,24 Maintains appropriate nursing competencies in line with department of Nursing Competency Guidelines and continues personalprofessional development4.1,25 Responsible for safe keeping of narcotics when in-charge.4.1,26 Monitor and maintains stock of consumables / clinical supplies.4,1.27 Maintain professional license. |
