| Description: | Duties and Responsibilities-Patrol College buildings within the limit of his responsibility and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry.-Periodically patrol within the limit of his responsibility; examine doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure and have not been tampered with.-Apprehend and detain anyone suspected of unauthorized entry into the College area. Subject is then handed over to the Supervisor and a statement is recorded.-Report to the Security Supervisor any unusual conditions or malfunctioning of any security systems.-Implement the relevant rules and regulations pertaining to the particular Security Guard post.-Maintain all Security equipment allocated per the Security Guard post and report any malfunctions to the Supervisor on duty.-Very strictly adhere to the designated uniform provided by the department.-Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities |
