Description:

1. Accounts Management

  • Responsible for leading Helm’s accounts in a manner that supports and guides the organization’s mission as defined by the Management.
  • Responsible for communicating effectively in a timely and accurate manner, all information necessary for the management to function properly and to make informed decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, donors, clients, government agencies, and corporate partners.
  • Supervise and contribute to the monitoring, evaluation and adaptive management of approved projects.
  • Provide guidance in design, implementation, evaluation and overall management of project including adherence to approved annual work plans and effectiveness of activities

2. Financial Performance and Viability of Accounts

  • Provide financial and budgetary oversight for Helm accounts; work on the development of annual accounts budgets.
  • Ensure the appropriate resources are in place and that the work is conducted in a timely fashion, within approved scope and budget.
  • Responsible for all the financials related to your account (existing and under pitch).

3. Accounts Mission and Strategy

  • Responsible for strategic planning and direction of accounts to ensure that Helm can successfully fulfill its Mission into the future.
  • Responsible for representing Helm in major and public events, webinar, seminars… etc.

4. Accounts Operations

  • Work in writing and overseeing the proposal for the client, donor and grant proposals and to ensure that the proposal meets the guidelines and requirements, and is a well-drafted request.
  • Develop and deliver innovative proposals to capture both account growth and new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for all aspects of your clients and projects including but not limited to leading on maintaining accurate project plans, reporting, Risk and Issue Management, accurate scoping and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately within the project for execution.
  • Up-selling Helm’s services to your clients.
  • Presenting with team the proposal ideas and strategy to the client.
  • Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and Helm by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively.
  • Making sure work is delivered on budget, and invoicing clients according to the proper terms, with increasing ROI for the company.

5. Internal Management 

  • Recruit, orient, and train new staff as needed.
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to Accounts Department staff based on clear roles and responsibilities
  • Responsible for the consistent successful facilitation of an account from the initiation to closure.
  • Maintain an engaging work environment through continuous staff coaching, training, and development to ensure a high level of productivity, motivation, and retention.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Political Science, Management, marketing, or other related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years in Client Management experience.
  • The candidate should have a firm understanding of community development and expertise in the self-reliant and participatory development processes.
  • He/she should also have the ability to use tact and diplomacy, resolve conflicts and achieve results.
  • Should have lead teams and have had accountability for large goals in his/her previous assignments.
  • Strong client handling/client relations experience.
  • Grant-making experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Solicits feedback from staff about the impact of his/her own behavior.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language is a must.
