BBI’s team members hold certifications in good standing with PMI® and are recognized for their contributions to the profession and thought leadership through participation in the creation and update of PMI’s Standards, Frameworks, and Practice Guides, receipt of PMI Awards, authorship of various published white papers and books, as well as having served in multiple leadership roles with PMI®.

Overview:

You will work with our Principal Consultants and Subject Matter Experts to conduct research and create content focusing on management science, best practices, and technology as they relate to multiple types of organizations, verticals, and industries for both professional and consumer audiences. The role requires an accomplished editorial manager with experience in the editing and production of all the following: White Papers, Research Papers, Books, and, business articles, and blog posts. Solid knowledge of research methods, and the creativity and curiosity to identify interesting, novel, nontraditional management science practices and angles. You should have a familiarity with content strategies.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
 

Produce high-performing content

Produce content that meets high professional standards and that is crisp, compelling and scientifically sound.

Ensure content is timely and unique

Maintain friendly and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear articulation and effective communication

Continuously identify opportunities for improvement

Development of tools, fact sheets, webinars, infographics and other formats for presenting information in engaging and accessible ways to multiple audiences

Original research driven by management sciences and global best practices.

Designing and leading trainings and presentations for multiple audiences as applicable

Convening multiple stakeholders to collaborate to move forward on editorial projects

Serve as supporting author of white papers.

Research, collect, analyze, create, and store data related to management science and global best practices.

Oversee data presented across surveys, studies to identify meaningful results.

Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

Write grant proposals for research funding.

Collaborate with and supervise research teams.

Assist in preparation of data reports, board presentations, publications, marketing collaterals, and other educational materials.

Promote research results through academic, think tank, and other public avenues.

Conduct outreach to academic institutions and think tanks.

PhD (prefrred) in business, management, political science, sociology, economics or related field;

2-3 years of experience managing research projects independently.

Experience publishing academic or think tank quality papers.

Experience with grant writing.

Knowledge of data analysis software programs is a plus.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to resolve issues.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Attention to detail, and a propensity to approach problems from creative angles.
