School Doctor

For an International School in Alexandria an experienced school doctor is required to undertake clinic responsibilities, from first aid treatments to running vaccination campaigns and examining students and administering medicines.

• First Aid treatment for injured students
• Examining sick students and distinguishing contagious conditions
• Contacts parents in case of medical emergencies
• May accompanying injured students to hospitals (if needed)
• Responsible for compiling. maintain and updating the students’ medical records every year.
• Maintaining an updated medical database inside the clinic
• Arranging and running vaccination campaigns
• Reviews/Approves staff medical notes when needed
• Possibly providing first aid treatment for staff members
• Prepares the medicines orders

• University degree in the field of general medicine or pediatrics
• 1- 3 years of work experience in schools
• Very good command of English written and spoken
• Use of data-processing tool (internet, mail, word, excel)
