Description: Objectives:  Our client, an Integrated Facilities Management Services Provider is looking for a Project Director to join their team in Riyadh. The main objective of this position is to direct the running of the project and create a safe and efficient work environment for both staff and clients that improves business performance and optimizes staff productivity.  Responsibilities: 
  • Creating integrated spaces, minimizing disruptions to overall business operations.
  • Preparing and managing the annual budgets for the hard and soft services and ensuring optimal utilization of personnel and other resources.
  • Overseeing physical maintenance and operations of buildings, facilities, and systems.
  • Assisting with planning and execution of soft and hard services.
  • Developing long and short-range maintenance plans/programs (e.g.: emergency response plans, energy management plans, annual budget, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring that resources are effectively utilized.
  • Managing leases, contractors and budgets related to buildings and facilities.
  • Recommending new hires, promotions, termination, and transfers for the purpose of maintaining staffing needs and productivity of the work force.
  • Providing site support.
  • Directing projects (e.g.: site repairs/construction, preventive maintenance, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring completion within established time frames, project design and budget.
  • Monitoring budgets and related financial activity for the purpose of ensuring that expenses are within budgetary limits.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.
  • Coordinating schedules and special event operations for the purpose of ensuring required facilities.
  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in the planning, operation, and supervision of high standards facilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project management experience in Mega projects.
  • Good knowledge of regulations and laws.
  • Multitasking abilities.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • High negotiating skills.
  • Excellent reporting capabilities.
  • Maintains high standards of safety and complies with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements.
