| Description: | Role PurposeEnsure smooth operations to the bar including the opening & closing tasks, staff training, customers’ orders, always maintaining hygiene and maintenance of the bar area in line with the Brand’s requirements, quality standards & government regulations. Accountabilities Check the opening process and following the opening procedure to ensure the restaurant readiness to receiving customers. Support the restaurant general manager in setting and changing the bar menu to ensure the proper costing for the menu items and meeting customers’ needs. Liaise with the restaurant assistant manager and supervisor waiters regarding the bar menu offerings to facilitate the recommendations for the guests and advise on allergies if any. Ensure proper storage, preparation, and inventory management to the bar products in line with the approved supply levels and quality standards. Ensure proper hygiene, maintenance, and cleanliness of the bar area.Train and develop the bar team on daily basis through kick-off meetings, feedback…etc. to ensure refreshing the information for the employees on daily basis. Implement the bar closing routine and making sure that all the tasks have been handled properly. Implement the policies and procedures in the bar to ensure compliance with the Brand’s policies and governmental regulations.Maintain quality control on the production and service to ensure meeting the brand requirements and positioning in the market. Ensure smooth running of the services for the customers’ orders in the bar. Report the bar activities and inventory discrepancies to the restaurant general manager. Job holder accountabilities are not limited to the above mentioned, the line manager can assign additional responsibilities when required.
