Description:
  • Understand requirements clearly and develop project plan, scope and deliverable.
  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects.
  • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-project activities.
  • Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff.
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities.
  • Apply change, risk and resource management.
  • Assume responsibility for the program’s people and vendors.
  • Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI.
  • Resolve projects’ higher scope issues.
  • Prepare reports for program directors and executive committee.
  • Become the SPOC for all projects towards senior management
  • Plan, prioritize and oversee project management activities in an effective manner.
  • Prepare budgets, determine timelines, and identify resources.
  • Monitor project progress on regular basis and identify and correct any delays.
  • Identify training needs for project team to improve professional competence.
  • Assist in performance evaluation, promotion and retention activities.
  • Stay current with latest developments in project management field.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss about project status and issues.
  • Prepare SOW, review contract terms and conditions and perform negotiations.
  • Ensure that final deliverable meet quality standards and expectations.
  • Develop process improvements to ensure to ensure high-quality and cost effectiveness
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager leading a Project Management Office.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.).
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • BSc/BA diploma in management.
  • PMP/Prince2 certification required.
  • 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
