Description:
  • Design, implement and maintain all LAN/WAN activities including vendor negotiations, hardware/software selection, resolving connectivity issues and vendor escalation.
  • Responsible for the level-1 security to protect the hardware, software and information resources from unauthorized access, tampering or physical damage. This includes the management of firewalls.
  • Carry out acquisition, installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis of systems.
  • Accountable for IT Assets inventory and life cycle management.
  • Accountable for Backup and recovery as well as DR effectiveness.
  • Accountable for all IT contracts.
  • Manage hardware maintenance activities and system tests to ensure effectiveness of the hardware and software in use.
  • Provide high quality and responsive IT infrastructure function in terms of reliability, availability, performance and support, within defined areas of responsibility that meets agreed services levels.
  • Own Hardware and software agreement.
  • Responsible for managing the operation within the approved annual budget.
