| Description: | Duties and Responsibilities– Oversee the college Science Laboratories and store rooms.- Prepare laboratory apparatus and materials for the lab work and maintain its cleanliness and orderliness.- Ensure the well-stocked and resourced laboratory by maintaining safe storage of equipment, materials and hazardous chemicals.- Implement safety regulations, policies and procedures, particularly those relating to bio hazardous substances.- Assist the Laboratory Superintendent in the preparation of purchase requisition orders.- Conduct preventive maintenance and effect simple repairs on laboratory equipment.- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.- Make sure that all lab equipment are working properly.- Be responsible for ensuring that procedures are followed according to NCAAA requirements.- Keep updated with current technical development related to his/her job.- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the real of his knowledge, skills and abilities. |
