| Description: | Duties and Responsibilities-Ensure that laboratory procedures are performed correctly.-Initiate the requisition of supplies reagents and materials and is responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of necessary supplies.-Assist in the installation of new equipment.-Demonstrate and instructs the students in the care and use of equipment and answer their questions.-Maintain a healthy and safe environment by performing safety tests, complying with policies and procedures and assisting in the guidance and training of students.-Be responsible for preventative maintenance procedures and ensuring the daily documentation of the procedures.-Be responsible for ensuring that procedures are followed according to NCAAA requirements.-Help in the development of laboratory policies and procedures.-Prepare reports as required.-Attend meeting as requested.-Be responsible for ensuring that work surfaces and equipment are clean.-Maintain of certain department records as required.-Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities |
