Description:

Payroll Section Head oversees and supervises the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time and accurately. Also, develop and implement the payroll and salary structure process and system to ensure the overall cycle integrity.

 

  • Develop, Implement, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions. 
  • Ensure salaries and income tax comply with country regulations and laws.
  • Perform and supervise monthly payroll operations and calculate bonuses, allowances, and commissions for all the company staff
  • Ensure the payroll completion, accuracy and manage any required salary adjustments after the payroll cycle.
  • Oversee the record of staff information, such as hires, transfers, promotions, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records and databases.
  • Maintain and manage the payroll budget and review any needed adjustments.
  • Follow up with the HR Operation team on the medical insurance file, issue cards, follow-up invoices, and amounts due for payments related to medical insurance.
  • Review and Manage with the Finance all Cost centers and related issues on a monthly closing and reconcile monthly bank statements.
  • Liaise with Finance Department and manage payroll tax audits
  • Collaborate with HR Team developing the processes and cycles related
  • Maintain accurate records and creating all related reports and ratios
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
  • Maintain an accurate database on the HRIS.
Qualifications:

Education Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or in Human Resources Management or any relative studies 
  • HR Certificate is a Must

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience
  • Human Resources background

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SAGA) and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Efficiency and organization
  • Teamworking skills
  • Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
  • Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
