Arabic Translation Team Leader

Summary

We are looking to hire an Arabic Translation Team Leader to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be able to lead the team while integrating creativity with professionalism, being a technological savvy, and a language fluency upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Supervising, monitoring, and managing translators to ensure the quality of the translation
• Maintaining the localization glossaries and style guides and keeping them up-to-date and audience appropriate
• Collaborating with content creation and product teams to ensure that language requirements are understood and supported, both from technical and linguistic perspectives
• Allocating translation materials to team members according to their subject matter experience
• Providing review and verification of translation work as required
• Coaching the team members and holding training sessions to stay up to date with the latest translation techniques
• Developing and measuring the individual skills of team members and creating a team structure that allows flexibility
• Assisting management with the hiring process and training new team members
• Organizing the workflow according to the required targets to guarantee optimum results
• Overseeing the workflow to identify and address points of development

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, or any related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in localization project management
• Excellent command of Arabic and English
• Fair knowledge of science and mathematics
