Description:	In the web development team, you will be maintain and extend web based systems targeting the book industry. They are currently built on top of an MS SQL Server, ASP.NET WebForms technology stack. You will monitor, maintain and adjust parts of the web frontend as well as automatically running import tasks implemented in C# and T-SQL. At the same time, we built up a completely new product line. You will be part of the team who is creating the system using modern web technologies such as MVC REST services, elastic and components like DevExtreme
Qualifications:	You have successfully completed an information technology degree. You have very good knowledge of Databases, T-SQL, ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC. You have experience with JavaScript libraries, e.g. jQuery, AngularJS and frontend frameworks, ideally Bootstrap or Foundation. You are familiar in database design, writing Stored Procedures as well as analysing and optimising SQL Queries. If you have been working with elastic before, it will be a big bonus to love to research and investigate, bring “Sherlock Homes”-like abilities and attitude. You do not give up until you finally found a solution – or at least an explanation. You are able to work independently, but are always open to teamwork. You tackle new subject areas with a spirit of discovery. We need you to be fluent in spoken and written English. SQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript should be standard tools for you. Experience with version control systems (e.g. DevOps, GIT) is an advantage, but can also be gained while working with us.
