| Description: | 1-*Perform maintenance inspections, services, repairs, and overhauls of generator sets, power units, small engine-driven equipment, and other diesel-powered and/or electricity-producing Special Purpose Equipment.2- Identity, troubleshoot, and repair faults on engines, alternate and direct current (AC/DC) systems, electronic control systems, and other program logic controls, electrical wiring, and accessories. 3-Maintaining all types of power generation equipment, including but not limited to FG Wilson, Caterpillar, Marapco, Cummins, Mitsubishi, SDMO, Olympian, Kohler, Perkins, MEPs, and other military design generators. 4-Test batteries, fuel, coolant, and oil; collect oil samples for analysis as directed. 5-Install specified new or reconditioned parts, make required adjustments and reassemble the complete unit. Complete records5-maintain tools and equipment, and perform various clean-up and housekeeping activities. 6-Ensure work is complete and conforms to standards and requirements IAW technical manuals, established processed, and local regulations and procedures. |
