Android Developer – Mid Level

Valify solutions is looking for a talented and skilled Android developer to join our growing mobile team.

You will be part of a team that will apply advanced software engineering principles and methodologies to design, develop, test and maintain mobile SDKs and applications to achieve the stated business and technology goals within required time lines.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing for android sdks.
• Designing and developing for android applications.
• Contribute to the development of new features.   
• Ensuring quality and performance of the applications/SDKs to specifications.
• Identifying potential problems and resolving applications/SDKs bottlenecks.
• Fixing applications/SDKs bugs.
• Maintaining the code.
• Supporting integration with clients.
• Building and publishing frameworks on artifactory.

Requirements:

• ProvenAndroid development experience 2-3 years of experience in Java/ kotlin.     
• Experience with Android SDKs  Development.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Firebase.      
• Familiarity with artifactory.
• Good knowledge of design patterns and practices.
• Experience of test-driven development alongside the use of automated test sdks, mocking and unit testing tools.
• Good understanding of Git and Git commands.
• The ability to understand, support, modify and maintain projects and code developed by other software engineers.
• Understanding of continuous integration.
• Familiarity with cross platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with iOS Development (Swift) is a plus.
