Description:
  • Use design software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the project Mechanical work.
  • Plan the execution of all mechanical related works and assign resources such as manpower, materials and equipment. 
  • Provide specifications of required materials to be used in the installation process.
  • Provide guidance to laborers and technicians and assign tasks and targets for accomplishments 
  • Ensure execution targets are met on a daily basis
  •  Interpret and review blueprints, shop drawings, schematics, and method statements to ensure a smooth running of the project
  • Ensure that equipment is installed and functioning according to specifications.
  • Submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager 
  • responsible for the safety of all Mechanical groups’ personnel of the project
  • resolve and report any unexpected technical issues and other problems that may arise during the execution 
  • Check the safety and stability of all mechanical systems through testing them
  • Be abreast of construction methodologies trends and recommend the most feasible one as per the site conditions and resources
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.
  • Make sure that all Mechanical drawings are in line and coordinated with other
    departmental design drawings prior proceeding with structural work and propose resolutions for any interdisciplinary conflicts.
  • Guide and evaluate performance of laborers and subcontractors. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in construction
  • Good command of English 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point. 
  • Proficient with design software (AutoCAD)
