Senior Cost Control Accountant

Purpose of role:

• Reporting to Head of cost division, this role is responsible for all operations of costing, deviations, item variances, GP controlling, budget controlling, opened MOs & POs controlling.

Duties and Responsibilities –

• Participate in month/year end closing. 
• Generate cost control reports for specific items in the company’s projects and reporting (monthly). 
• Works with Site to review and analyze budget performance to include a review of actual and budgeted expenses (monthly). 
• Analyzes and costs manufacturing work orders following the company’s costing system. 
•  Prepares the monthly cost of sales figures by analyzing material, labor, and expenses. 
•  Analyzes variances from cost estimates. 
•  Prepare, examine, and analyze monthly cost statements for every profit/cost center. 
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. 
• Conduct periodic cost studies to develop the standard cost of products manufactured. 
•  Apply cost accounting principles to provide detailed cost information not supplied by the general accounting systems. 
• Prepares periodical information and reports about the profitability of each Profit/Cost center.

• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
