Under the direction of the HOD, the Registrar of Pediatrics provides professional services and is responsible for the operational activities, and performs related duties as required:
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships; comply with Hospital policies, protocols, and program regulations; prepare and maintain accurate medical records with appropriate documentation; recognize and respect limits of confidential information; learn and make referrals to local and regional providers of social, medical, and or other specialized services; communicate effectively.
  • Patient Focus: Consistently delivers high levels of patient service to exceed patient’s expectations.
  • Quality Focus: Knowledge of and a demonstrated commitment to quality processes, JCI, and evidence-based practices, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to these improvements
  • Producing high-quality Pediatrics services and performs all Pediatrics procedures and provides exceptional patient care to patients of all ages.  
  • Ensures the safe and efficient use of Pediatrics equipment and tools, taking action to resolve faults/issues and advising the team.
  • Adheres to and promotes compliance with Pediatrics safety and protection policy and associated codes of practice, and takes appropriate action where non-compliance is evident. 
  • Assists the activities of the Pediatrics Team staff (Accreditation and Quality Control) as necessary
  • Works with the Doctors, Nurses, Accreditation, and Quality Control, to develop and/or deliver training programs to new employees on equipment and procedures in the area of operations in alignment with the department’s training objectives and plans.  
  • Ensures all policies are implemented and maintained, as set down by Taiba Hospital.
  • Excellent knowledge of Pediatrics machines, procedures, drugs, and related equipment.
  • Emergency procedures and possible medical conditions associated with Pediatrics.
  • Facilitate the Pediatrics multidisciplinary team in planning operative patient care.
  • Coordinate equipment, instrumentation, and supply needs for the assigned Pediatrics.

  • Expertise in pediatrics and extensive clinical experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Windows and HIS.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a multidisciplinary environment.
