| Description: | Job brief:Ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.Role responsibilities:Order planning: v Order Placement: communicating with the supplier the needed stock to achieve the sales forecast. v Monitor Delivery plan: managing the delivery of the shipment to all warehouses. v Stock allocation: transferring the stock between the branches as per the forecast. v Managing shipments to branches warehouse from Central warehousesv Inventory management: § Slow Movers & NPI: defining and monitoring the slow movers and high coverage inventory with coordination with the sales team. § ABC Analysis: Categorizing the inventory based on the sales performance. § Inventory Matrix: emphasizing the non-complaint, non-sellable, and stock with zero forecasts. v Forecast accuracy & Sales performance: highlighting the forecast accuracy effects on the inventory in terms of availability and freshness. v Sales and operation planning: conducting S&OP meetings with the sales team to highlight the business and inventory challenges and plan accordantly. v Monthly forecast review: conducting a meeting with the supplier to review the sales performance, plan for the YTG forecast plan and highlight any stock availability issues. v Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.v Defining and monitoring slow-moving itemsv Conducting ABC analysis v Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.v Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.v Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.v Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.v Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.v Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner. |
