Description:	Duties and Responsibilities Ensure that all food meet the quantity specification and is ready for service at the required time Be responsible for, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times. Help prepare Store Requisitions, and to ensure that all items are correctly   Ensure that all standard recipes are strictly adhered to. Help in preparation of special orders as requested by the Head of   Help maintain the security of the Bakery. Check quality of all dishes and menu items and to ensure food is presented in the correct manner. Ensure all equipment and machinery is operated in a safe manner. To report any defects or possible safety hazards. Make sure all equipment, utensils and work surfaces used in his section are clean. Assist with the preparation of the staff notes and work schedules as required, and ensure that staff adhere to them.  Ensure that staff observes good personal hygiene practices Reduce food costs by minimizing wastage in the kitchen and by ensuring that correct portion control is maintained. Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
Qualifications:	A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as Baker/Confectionery equivalent in a first-class Bakery environment. Sound knowledge of bakery, pastry and dessert production. Knowledge of Arabic sweets would be desirable. At least one (1) year experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent in a first-class catering establishment. Knowledge of all Bakeries  Good knowledge of Arabic and English language.
