Supply Chain Manager – Pharmaceutical

• Directs an organization’s foreign procurement operations, including purchasing and inventory of raw materials & selection of vendors
• Evaluates actual sales figures against previous orders of finished products & premix to place next orders to avoid excess inventory
• Develops strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
• Directs the activities of all functions involved in the foreign purchasing, planning and logistics
• Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to foreign procurement
• Follows up on the development and continuous improvement of supplier management.

     Include the following:

• Soft and hard suppliers’ database
• Follow up supplier performance per period (Quarterly /Annually)
• Addition of new suppliers for approved supplier data base.
• Set the key performance indicators (KPIs) for approved suppliers include:

                     –   Minimum order quantity

                      –  Delivery Lead time

                       – Defect Ratio

• Participates in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of the foreign materials to support product launches
• Leads negotiation process for all major foreign contracts (New equipment – own brand label deal contracts, raw material contracts … etc.)
• Develops and manages invoices issuing, freight fees, customs fees and logistics …etc.)
• Works closely with export department and manage all logistics related to the export department and export contracts

• Bachelor degree of pharmaceutical science 
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office & Internet browsing)
• Excellent English & Arabic (written and spoken)
• 5 years’ experience in the same position in a multinational cosmeceutical company
