Description:

Responsibilities/Duties: 

• Ensure the successful completion of all localization projects as per quality standards and with efficient management of the whole localization process as well.

  • Develop, track and update a master plan for projects covering all phases of the projects; pre, actual and post.
  • Understand clients’ needs, define project scope and requirements, and analyse risk and expectations.
  • Aware of/follow industry trends to keep the tools, process updated and matches clients’ expectations. 
  • Agree on/Define models of production and QA, define escalation path and key milestones
  • Assess highs and lows of each project, and look deep into the underlying causes of problems to report areas that could be done better in the future.
  • Responsible of or process improvements.
  • Provide sound leadership/Management for different stack holders; Project Manager, translators and engineers – including work assignment, capacity management, coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Manage financial status and cost control of localization projects including: 
    • Creating accurate estimates and quote projects.
    • Setting up project budgets. 
    • Performing financial closure at projects end. 
  • Provide input and feedback for continuous improvement of processes, services, and client relationships.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. These include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Managing External Teams Allocation & Cost.
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge and skills: 

  • Excellent analytical, planning, decision-making & organizing skills.
  • Profound knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of basic financial management.
  • Ability to travel.

Educational/Professional Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • MBA degree is a plus.
  • Fluent in English: spoken and written.
  • Software previous experience is a plus.
  • Preferably Previous experience in the Localization Industry.
