Description:
  • To finalize and manage the finishing works between civil and MEP within projects to ensure that construction is delivered to the client with the required quality standards and within agreed time scales.
  • Plan and manage defined phasing zones from the project initiation until handing over the projects to set the time and work expectations. 
  • Manage and participate in deciding on subcontractors and negotiate terms and conditions of agreements in order to craft the best offer with subcontractors. 
  • Lead the coordination between the companies’ finishing workers and the subcontractors to ensure collaboration and avoid projects’ drawbacks. 
  • Study, review and validate shop drawing in order to avoid discrepancies. 
  • Distribute the task on the engineering team and/or subcontractors according to the shop drawing and construction managers in order to be approved from the quality engineers 
  • Ensure compliance with data sheets, drawings, specifications and quality standards in order to successfully hand over projects. 
  • Manage the phased zones of finishing activities and ensure they are complete, cleaned and prepared in readiness for the client snagging. 
  • Draft and update the progress sheet with the consultant to be presented to clients. 
  • Finalize invoices and coordinate payments of subcontractors and update projects’ financial reports accordingly to ensure accurate project information. 
  • Support in projects’ handing over documents for finishing work in order to get clients’ acceptance and taking over of projects.
Qualifications:
  • Education Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
  • Relevant Work Experience 10 years of relevant experience
