Senior Software Integration Engineer

– Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

– Participate deeply in the software design decisions. 

– Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code

– Recommend changes to improve established application processes

– Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

– Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

– Documents his work, performs all required types of tests (Unit Test, Systems Test, Integration Test …etc.) on his work.

– Coach a small team(s) technically.

– Participates in planning assigned tasks durations (WBS).

– Maintains technical knowledge and understanding of the latest software methodologies and best practices by participating in educational opportunities.

• Integration development experience, ideally in platforms such as WSO2 or other integration technologies.
• Participate and contribute to the design and development of Integration-based orchestrations and API gateway development.
• Develop and execute complementary unit tests using appropriate technologies
• Experience in integrating various technologies; files, databases, JMS, web services, ISO8583, etc.
• Demonstrable understanding of Web Services (SOAP & REST), XML and JSON formats document schemas, and HTTP protocol.
• Basic knowledge in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Maven, Jenkins, Git, and/or comparable toolsets.
• Good knowledge in Java development, with Java Enterprise and Spring experience, preferred but not essential.
• Be aware of new technology and innovation and suggest innovative opportunities to help the business grow.
• Produce high-quality technical specifications to describe the program logic and process flow of the developed code.
• Produce detailed rollout and back out the documentation for projects and system enhancements.
• Basic knowledge in database design and development.
• Passionate about new technologies and great user experience.
• Solid leadership skills.
• Agile methodology is preferred
