Description:

TASKS & DUTIES:

  • Ensuring supply meets the needs of the customer order and/or forecasted demand
  • Releasing and scheduling of process orders to the shop floor
  • Release of purchase requisitions and/or stock transport orders 
  • Review and update safety stocks, lead times and other MRP data
  • Review list of produced material requirements from demand forecast as well as Make to Stock/Make to Order requirements within ERP. 
  • Coordinates & expedites the placement of purchase orders and/or delivery of material
  • Escalate to “Plant Manager” and “Demand Planner” when a customer order will be impacted by supply
  • Use ERP system
Qualifications:
  • EDUCATION:
  • Bcs. Degree Mechanical Production Engineering
  • EXPERIENCE:
  • 1-3 years experience
  • SKILLS:
  • Communicate well verbally and in writing. 
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes 
  • The ability to meet deadlines

  • Cost awareness
