Job Title:Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP)

Description:
  • Review plans and specifications according to the plan
  • Prepare plans, details, specified and cost estimated of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system
  • Prepare and review HVAC, FF & plumbing design and shop drawings
  • Prepare and review load estimation, duct sizing, Hydraulic calculation, water supply and sewerage calculation
  • Review equipment datasheet
  • Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions
  • Assist in the installation of MEP work
  • Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to Project safety regulations
  • Prepare detailed bill of materials for tenders or projects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD is a must
  • At least 5 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing
  • Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, and problem solve effectively
