Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 3+ years experience in building and maintaining software systems using strongly typed OOP language.
• Experience with Laravel.
• Experience with SQL databases
• Strong communication skills
• Microservices Experience
• Junit
• Agile
• Webservices
• Familiar with DevOps concepts
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security policies and procedures including static code analysis, dependency analysis and penetration testing.
• Sense of business with a strong sensibility to time to market
• Eager to research and learn in a self-directed way (always improving)
• Good knowledge of REST services and JSON.
• Strong understanding of automated builds and continuous integration, and supporting tools, e.g. git, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins.

Complimentary skills

• Experience in Fin-tech products.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or Dockers is preferred.
• AWS Certified Developer is a plus
