Site Engineer

We are looking for a talented and accomplished site engineer to join our growing business. As a site engineer, you will manage projects, supervise staff, and provide technical advice as a subject matter expert. Our ideal candidate is an industrious go-getter.

Experience in finishing and bank projects is a plus

• Managing parts of construction projects
• Overseeing building work
• Undertaking surveys
• Setting out sites and organizing facilities
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Supervising contracted staff
• Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to

• Bachelor’s degree in civil / structural/ architecture engineering or related field from a reputable university.
• Experience in finishing and bank projects is a plus
• Considerable experience in a similar position
• In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design
• Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Commercial awareness – an understanding of how your actions can affect profitability of a project
• Team working and communication

• Good Knowledge of AutoCAD
