Staff Accountants

A leading import/export company that serves clients worldwide is looking for experienced Staff Accountants for their Alexandria and Giza offices’ operations.   The successful candidates must attain a high level of integrity, competencies, and skills

• Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of calculating and posting journal entries into the accounting system, sub-ledgers and general ledger activity.
• Records cash management entries and maintain account balances and reconciliations.
• Review, post and maintain vendor accounts.
• Generate payment disbursements to all vendors via check.
• Assist internal and external auditors in yearend audits.
• Process reimbursements to tax authority, manage data entries & reconcile withholding taxes.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Substantiates and justify expenditures and expense reports.
• Assists in the preparation and analysis of financial statements internally and externally.
•  Assist the head of department.
• Records fixed assets in the accounting system.
•  Processes inventory adjustments claims financial management and physical inventory count periodical audits.
•  Assists in special projects as necessary.

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or managerial accounting.
2. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in basic book-keeping and data entry utilizing accounting software.
3. A high degree of competency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
4. Preferably, previous experience with accounting systems or ERP systems.
5. Excellent communication and language skills, both verbal and written (Arabic / English languages).
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must.
7. A high degree of integrity and loyalty.
8. Working under pressure with heavy workloads during high volume seasons to meet month closing deadlines.
