Senior PR Associate

• Assist PR Manager in creating an annual plan and budget for the PR calendar and preparing and monitoring the plan’s budget.
• Implementation of the PR activities calendar
• Manage media coverage effectively and timely:

A. Open and maintain communication channels with the media

B. Maintain regional and international media contacts

C. Arrange media coverage and press releases for all collections, features, events, and initiatives

D. Prepare press releases for publicity and promotional purposes

E. Arrange interviews between the media and key designers or any company personnel

F. Monitor the media’s coverage of the company both locally and internationally

G. Document all of the above effectively

H. Monitor potential opportunities for coverage

• Assist in developing all company communication material including company profiles, synopsis, etc…
• Update the company website with all news and editorials
• Implement and co-organize company events and company’s participation in local and overseas events
• Execute all Azza Fahmy magazine photoshoots
• Prepare all PR tools, press releases, press kits etc
• Provide regular news updates to all AFJ employees and execute internal PR initiatives such newsletters.
• Work with all franchisee PR teams to execute the PR plan
• Communicate with PR agencies abroad and timely provide them with all necessary products and material
• Provide external parties with the company’s products and necessary material for promotional uses
• Research and execute designer collaborations as per strategic PR plan guidelines.
• Co-develop and execute the AFJ CRM system
• Co-develop and execute the AFJ CSR system
• Provide the PR Manager with all needed information, reports, analyses, and adequate advice and recommendations to support planning and decision-making for the Marketing & Sales department.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the PR Manager.

• 5 years of experience in a similar job and related fields
• Excellent command of Arabic, English
• Presentation, Communication, Taking Initiative, Problem Solving & Time Management
