Description:
  • The required position is subject to future rotation in other business sectors.
  • Supporting GM and Managers in developing new businesses, which may require market research, study on statistics, and various marketing issues.
  • Managing emails between head office/regional offices and local biz partners.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure customers’ needs are met and deliveries are made in accordance with their requests.
  • Building a strong relationship with customers in order to anticipate their needs and in the interest of good customer service.
  • Maintaining and updating internal records.
  • Preparing and issuing all necessary business documentation correctly and on time.
  • Day-to-day control for assigned business areas, including monitoring outstanding contract position, chasing receipt of payments from customers, reporting, and recommending action to management as needed.
  • Dealing with existing and new customers and products.
  • Traveling on a business trip is required if necessary.
  • Following Dept. back office and related biz documentations.
  • Providing/supporting the management with research on the Macro/Micro Economy of Egypt including gathering statistical data on fiscal balance, trade balance as well as governmental subsidies, etc.
  • Follow up statistical data & Analysis of data of past and current sales contracts & realized data of Cairo office.
  • Assisting in general documentation work including expenses claims and various internal general affair roles.
  • Filling and copying documents.
  • Visiting customers when requested by direct manager.
  • Meeting Detp’s visitors, and arranging business trips and hotel booking with Admin. Dept.
  • Performing other instructions according to job needs.

Relationships:

  • Other members of staff within Mitsui’s regional offices.
  • Suppliers and customers of the Department.
  • Clearing agents, warehouses and other necessary service providers.
Qualifications:

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and experience in related business.
  • Engineering background preferred 
  • Excellent English proactive communication skills and relationship-building skills are essential.
  • Basic financial, numerical, and analytical skills.
  • IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities within strict timeframes.
  • Knowledge of risk management and contract management.
  • Knowledge of import and export procedures.

Experience:

  • Previous working experience in an international trading company is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience and ability to work in a global environment.

Education:

  • University Graduate: Engineering/Commerce/Economics or other.
