Supply Chain Executive

•Monitor weekly Inventory Requirements versus the stock as per production plans and communicate the concerned department (Sales / Plants /Marketing) / Suppliers in case any clarifications /modifications are required.

•Send RFQ’s (Request for Quotation) to the potential suppliers, study offers & negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.

•Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among suppliers and considering the delivery time is suitable to the concerned department needs.

•Issue Purchase orders / Update existing by ensuring approving purchase requirements and matching the Procurement Manual with 100% accuracy in terms of price, specs and delivery dates, verify the completeness of data attached in PO.

•Follow up weekly all the open purchase orders with suppliers to ensure on- time delivery, high quality deliveries to the purchase order for the production plans.

•Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.

•Coordinate with vendors and warehouses to determine corrective actions in case of defective or unacceptable goods or services.

•Build up a portfolio of approved suppliers and search for new suppliers able to deliver high quality products at competitive prices.

• Strong background in freight management , sourcing, logistics and customs activities end to end.

• Bachelor degree of any relevant specialization [preferably Engineers] from an accredited faculty / university.

• 2-4 years experience of procurement, preferably if working in the FMCG sector.

• Very good command of English language.

• Very good computer literature especially for MS Office package.

• Figures Orientation & Analytical Skills.

• Preferably if aware of SAP operations.

• Conduct other duties within the scope of this job description as required
