DevOps & SysOps Tech lead

A large-scale e-commerce company based in Kuwait looking for a DevOps tech lead, who has more than six years of experience in managing and maintaining DevOps web environments deployed at AWS.

The job fully remote and he should be open to allocate to the state of kuwait.

Decent salary plus health insurance.

We are one of the largest e-commerce companies in the middle east, one of the biggest players.

1- Excellent knowledge of running the following technologies in the cloud, Python, PHP, ElasticSearch, kafka, maxwell, ReactJs, Redis, and Java.

2- Hands-on experience in containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS and AWS Fargate)

3- Monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Kibana, Grafana …etc.

4- Experience in CICD such as jenkins and gitlab.

5- AWS services have strong hands-on experience (ec2, ELB, S3, IAM, Batch, ELK, Elastic cache, Elastic search, Redshift, Life cycle manager, EFS, RDS, VPC, Autoscale).

6- Cross cloud knowledge such as GCP is preferable.

7- Faid knowledge of testing and load testing tools also preferred.

8- He should be perfectly aware of how web traffic flow and how to secure it.

9- Worked in a web environment getting millions of hits.

10- Solid experience in WAF solutions such as Cloudflare and AWS WAF.

11- Solid experience in cost management, tips and trick of saving cloud costs.

12- Kubernetes hands-on building stacks is a must.

13- Preferably current position in the e-commerce domain.
