Planning and organizing production schedules

• Assessing project and resource requirements

• Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing with budgets and timescales with clients and managers

• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met

• Determining quality control standards

• Overseeing production processes

• Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary

• Selecting and ordering materials

• Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment

• Liaising with purchasing and marketing and sales staff

• Overseeing production data, the volume produced, raw materials level

• Preparing reports of the production department.

Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors People Management

. • Set production unit objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.

• Ensure KPIs are met by working to the plan, including management of, and reporting

. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

. • Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost

. • Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere

• Electrical Engineering.

• 10+ experience in relevant manufacturing practical experience in the field of plastic or similar manufacturing

• Technical understanding

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience is a plus.

• Proven track record of leading a team, managing change, streamlining processes and driving safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.
