Description:

 1- Distribution

 •Drives the sales plan through consistent focus on studying the business, monitoring inventory and sales  performance, and bringing in new products based on predicted needs of the customer

 •Consignments to be prioritized based on the floor requirement & Instruct warehouse accordingly to keep it ready. 

 • Should be well aware of the stocks ordered & receipt for the season. 

 • Thorough knowledge of stock available in warehouse. 

 • Weekly inventory to be taken for local items for re-ordering  

 • Ensure that some of the styles are not distributed to smaller stores (based on the sales trends). 

 •Must track how existing product is selling and decide the next steps; this includes developing in-       season  forecasts and future merchandise plans for a given gender and class. This position works    closely with  merchandising, allocations, and store operations.

 2- Consolidation 

  •Achieving sales and inventory plans in our retail stores that meet the assigned financial targets      and company objectives. 

 • Ensure that some of the styles are not distributed to smaller stores (based on the sales trends). 
 •Analyze the slow movement items in consultation with dept. staff & advice for corrective action. 
 • Weekly visits to shops ensuring the consolidation of stock are well executed.

 3- Budgeting 

 • Thorough knowledge of monthly & season budgets for the shops, department and brands 

 • Independently drawing up season purchase I sale budgets, keeping in mind the store growth plan   & market conditions. 

 • Thorough knowledge of stock holding in each dept. & sub dept. 

 • Recognition the changing Market trends & future demand. 

 • Distribution to be made based on the shop budget & requirement. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must have 3 – 5 years of experience as a Merchandise Planner with large size retailer.
  •  Required travel: 20-30%.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent English skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
