Description:
  1. Develop, in consultation with the line manager and function manager, the department’s strategy and business plans and ensure that they are closely aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives and the specific requirements of the Strategic Business Unit.
  2. Supervising in preparation of annual financial statements for the Strategic Business Unit, and coordinate with external auditor regarding annual audit reviews and issued the audited financial statement.
  3. Support business management and provide guidance and recommendation as far as controlling are concerned.
  4. Evaluate and manage the SBU financial performance and monitor and mitigate risks by implementing internal control mechanisms.
  5. Develop and analyses the performance of each business line against budgets; appraise the financial position and provide recommendations/actions to improve performance.
  6. Highlighting the weak and imbalances points and bottleneck situations that may accurse in any business activity and submitting to the board of directors. 
  7. Oversee the financial details of past, present, and expected operations of the SBU in order to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed
  8. Provide regular reports regarding cash flow status, Income statement, Balance Sheet and forecasts,
  9. Oversee the daily operations of the department including review of all payments, processing related to suppliers and maintenance of payment records.
  10. Oversee the compilation and validation of the integrated accounts receivable and payable information for SBU
  11. Implement a robust financial reporting system to monitor performance; the flow of funds, adherence to the budget, expenditures, income and other budgetary items in close collaboration with the Manager, Financial Planning and Reporting.
  12. Drives the monthly internal financial reporting process. Sets the timetable for timely internal reporting and ensures agreement and compliance from the divisions
  13. Manage the cash flow of the business and coordinate with Corporate Treasury for bank facility requirements.
  14. Oversee financial due diligence activities and manage the SBU business portfolio.
  15. Oversee inter-company billing/administration with inputs from the SBU.
  16. Supervise monthly payroll processing and administration for all employees in the SBU (in collaboration with Human Resources).
  17. Timely and accurate communication with all stakeholders to drive efficiency and effective processes
Qualifications:
  • Working Knowledge in SAP
  • Knowledge of /IFRS
  • Working knowledge of applicable Tax and Zakat.
  • Organizational and Planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Leadership Skills
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, excellent problem-solving skills required 
Education:Bachelor's degree / higher diploma
