Description:

Responsibilities
 

  • Responsible for all testing activities within a certain project
  • Distribute tasks to all members within a testing team
  • First point of contact for the testing team
  • Assure the readiness of Test environments
  • Preparing test strategies and test plans
  • Attend technical / business meetings with customers
  • Ensure with the Delivery manager that staffing for projects is done correctly and according to project needs
  • Ensure quality of deliverables
  • Report to Delivery manager
  • Attend follow-up meetings with customers
  • Preparation/review of test cases
  • Execution of tests
  • Reporting of defects
  • Conduct all types of software testing
  • Build business and functional requirement documents
  • Manage on-going communication with customers
  • Create test-end reports
  • Ensure that all deadlines are met and all requirements within the test plan are covered
  • Monitoring and coaching colleagues under his/her supervision
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles
  • IT Background
  • 6 – 10 years of experience in the field
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus)
  • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to act as a Project-/ test manager
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Extensive Management & Leadership skills.
  • Ability to provide strategic consultancy and take strategic decisions
  • Knowledge of relevant testing strategies and methodologies
  • Well organized in order to manage time, develop and manage test plans, organize schedules, and  build-up reports.
  • Good understanding of project and test management
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in tight schedules
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
  • Certified ISTQB Foundation Level / Test Analyst / Test Management
  • Certified IREP is a plus
