Description:	Safety in everything you/your team do. System & component level reliability requirements and target definition for our vehicles and batteries. Develop “Design Verification Plan and Report” for test plans and their execution as well as leveraging available resources for simulation & analysis. Use lifetime models & reliability statistics to define sample size requirements, tests, and their duration. Apply reliability analysis to uncover potential risks and opportunities early in the design process. Lead Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis process for our products to capture the reliability performance risks and plan the appropriate risk mitigation activities Develop virtual and physical test plans to prove components & design meet required reliability performance. Facilitate failure analysis investigations to understand the root cause and drive resolution of failures occurring during product development Research unique in-field failure mechanisms to build more robust validation plans and enable continuous design improvement.
Qualifications:	BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets Solid programming experience in C or C++ Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools and peer review Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and datasheets for components Knowledge of Battery Electric Vehicle architecture with a detailed understanding of Powertrain, Battery, Chassis, Body, Up-to-date on the latest reliability engineering tools & methods to continue to accelerate in-house technology development that will provide benefits in the ways of safety, reliability, and cost. Experienced in material selection testing & analysis, Component level electric & mechanical testing, the different testing & reliability standards,
