Field Power Engineer

• Advanced ability to troubleshoot faults to component level on equipment such as UPS systems, batteries, DC power systems, PDU’s, Inverter Systems, etc.
• Commission, maintain and provide emergency support for power systems at customer sites within the designated geographic area. 
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment start-ups, field modifications and/or battery replacements
• Must be willing to travel, work nights and weekends when necessary, and be available for on-call readiness 24/7 with occasional periods of extended travel.
• Capable of utilizing hand tools and test equipment to perform work
• Study new projects tenders and propose a cost study model.
• Define assumptions, constraints & risk factors with managers.
• Cooperate with different business units’ operation teams to design a cost-effective operation, plan to minimize cost, and increase the profitability of new projects.
• Revise the proposal with contractual, finance, and project departments.
• Studying client specifications and requirements, focusing on potential clients’ requirements
• Cost estimation to create P&L study, Cash flow with analysis for cost elements.
• Negotiate customers with required scope changes.
• Study additional work requirements, provide cost breakdown, and propose selling price.
• Prepare technical proposals.
• Collect cost of required tools & materials from the procurement department.
• Prepare presentations to the clients about the business unit’s capabilities.
• Follow the pipeline updates & support in solving problems facing any of the team members.

Education

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

• AutoCAD
• Excellent command of the English language.

• Excellent pre-sales technical skills.
