Senior WordPress Developer

Main Responsibilities

• Developing WordPress websites themes and plugins
• Building modular and reusable WordPress components
• Optimizing the application for performance
• Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in PHP and JavaScript 
• Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with WordPress and all project dependencies
• Ensure high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of  Wordpress CMS
• Integrate external services
• Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in computer engineering, information technology, computer science or any related discipline
• Solid experience in WordPress themes and plugins development
• Solid experience in Woocommerce plugin customization
• Solid experience in API development & integration

Technical skills:

• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML & CSS
• Experienced with using Git
• Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms is a plus
• Preferable with a design background
