Description:	About the RoleAl-Futtaim Logistics Automotive division has a mission of delivering the highest level of service, quality and efficiency to the region’s leading Automotive retailers. As a Heavy Vehicle Driver your task is to deliver new vehicles to the correct location, without damage and whilst adhering to all current company policies.To drive heavy duty trucks including car carriers, flat bed or low bed trailer trucks and heavy goods vehicles; loads and unload vehicles and deliver heavy equipment or goods to various locations throughout the UAE. Assist in the movement of light vehicles at all AFL locations. About the Responsibilities Maintain economical fuel consumption through good driving practices and ensure vehicles are filled with a full tank at the end of each shift. Inspect Truck, Car-Carrier and load for defect during and after trips and submit a written report if any defect found Submit all relevant items listed in the driver SOP accurately and on time; including Trip Sheets, Fuel Receipts, signed DOs, Police Reports and Defect Sheets. Maintain a 100% damage-free record. Report all accident or incidents involving company equipment to Planning Team. Accurately maintain driver logbook in accordance with company requirements. Provides a communication link between customers and Planning staff. Good communication and diplomacy skills required. Knowledge of basic truck & automotive maintenance procedures. Awareness and compliance of company Health & Safety Policy. Knowledge of UAE roads and RTA regulations. Adhere to company Quality SOP for driving and handling new vehicles.
