| Description: | * Supervise operators assigned to the shift. Primarily related to gold room activities (gravity, elution, EW etc) but also as required to sustain safe operation.* Review previous shift logs and hand over notes. Discuss problems, agree on solutions, coordinate with maintenance and metallurgy to be involved with carrying out activities as required.* Monitor operation activities, equipment, consumption, and performance to ensure stability and alignment with production targets.* Inspect and ensure that all areas within the plant are operational and in line with guidance. * Report or create requests for stoppages, breakdowns, major repairs, problems (safety or production) or replenish materials and supplies necessary for continued operation. *Review or develop procedures or standards based on compliance guidelines or needs to ensure safe and efficient operations.*Champion safety by example, support company policies and overall ensure the safety of the crew.*Ensure a high level of security around gold production and shipping (gold security standard). |
