Description:	Your work environment: We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Supervisor in our plant in Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, which produces aluminum beverage cans. The position reports directly to the Production Manager. Job Requirements: • Following a period of product and process familiarization, you will be responsible for a team of shift employees. Through the line Group Leaders you will ensure the achievement of efficient and cost-effective production, whilst meeting plans and targets. • You will be instrumental in sustaining a safety-first approach to all shift activities, as well as leading and developing your shift team in accordance with the HR policies and procedures. • Attention to detail with regards to product quality is critical, and previous experience of operating with a continuous improvement approach to the problem solving would be advantageous. • This is an ideal opportunity for a high caliber person to make a difference in one of EMEA’s largest can making facilities whilst gaining valuable experience to enhance your career in a large organization.
Qualifications:	The successful candidate has a Technical, Mechanical or Production background, with minimum 4 years’ experience operated and been successful in a supervisory role acquired in the can-making or in high speed FMCG industries. Experience in beverage can making is an advantage. This role is based in a unique fast-paced environment; in order to succeed the successful candidate will be passionate about their work, have a self-motivated will do approach to all tasks and possess excellent and proven man-management skills. This is a pivotal role in the plant and as such you will require outstanding communication skills to manage communications and feedback to employees and managers alike. Process oriented with good supervision, analytical and communication skills. You demonstrate evidence of working productively and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines whilst demonstrating attention to detail and high quality performance. Written and spoken English is mandatory, with good organization skills, able to set priorities and keep deadlines. We expect you to work with flexibility, on shift pattern, in all lines.
