Software Tester

Yodawy adopts a user-first strategy, which dictates ideation, design, planning and execution of all digital experiences.

As a software tester, you will be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment. You will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are identified and addressed within a product before it gets deployed to end-users.

Your role will include understanding user stores and requirements, writing and executing test-cases and well as working hand-in-hand with designers, developers, product managers to launch and continuously iterate and improve a product.

Responsibilities:

• Validating & identifying business requirements
• Writing user stories, test cases and user journey flows
• Defining, writing and executing test cases
• Reviewing documentations
• Running manual and automated tests
• Testing in different environments including web and mobile
• Presenting findings to software development and business user teams

• Previous experience in software testing
• Solid understanding of agile methodology
• Solid experience in requirements gathering, including user story writing
• Solid experience in an automated testing tool, preferably Selenium
• Project management skills
• Participated and/or maintained digital products
• Solid understanding of user stories and test case writing
• First-hand experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, TFS or similar
• Solid understanding of the typical stages of software development lifecycle
• Eye for detail and extraordinary time management skills
• ISTQB certification is a bonus
