Description:
  • Perform quality activities in accordance with the quality management system established
  •  Establish inspection and test plans and their record forms as per project requirements and international codes & standards 
  •  Carry out inspections on discipline responsible to determine whether work performed conforms to quality requirements, and recording its result  
  • Ensure inspection status is controlled through efficient tools such as inspection matrix
  •  Coordinate direct activities with the other discipline inspectors to maintain consistency and integrity in the overall construction.
  • Inspection of piping, welding, painting, and insulation activities and supports subcontractor to ensure quality and efficiency in accordance with project specification. 
  •  Review Customer’s technical specifications and Quality Assurance Plans, QC Procedures, and NDE procedures to assist with establishing acceptable working practices for construction activities.
  •   Verifying that adequate and valid welder approvals are available and that only approved welders are used in production 
  • Managing and performing inspection of Welding discipline
  • Generate client Requests For Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness, and inspection points.
  • Prepare / Review the following Quality procedure documents submitted by the Subcontractors such are Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Material Approval Request (MAR).
  • Prepare / Review / Approve the related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded
  • Controlling inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix.
  • Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP & managing Matrix)
  • Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly.
  • Performing and coordinating inspection with client.
  • Carry out QC Supervisor’s responsibility in his/her absence.
  • Control quality violations through regular toolbox talk with the construction team.
  • Review and track material submittals required for Welding Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings.
Qualifications:
