Content Acquisition Specialist

Job purpose

We are looking for Content Acquisition Specialists to join our fast-growing Content Acquisition team. This role is critical to Almentor’s success and will require industry knowledge, content expertise, and building deep instructor relationships to achieve our goals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Source potential instructors through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
• Foster long-term relationships with our network of instructors.
• Screen resumes and instructors’ applications.
• Conduct phone calls, meetings for interviews, and following up on pending applications. 
• Daily communication through email, phone, and Zoom to respond to mentor’s questions.
• Maintaining bulk databases and keeping on updating them for ongoing processes.
• Escalate instructors’ complaints to the Content Acquisition Lead. 
• Review courses’ outlines to share our best practices with instructors. 
• Work closely with the content operations team on enhancing the learning experience. 
• Deliver the highest level of customer experience to instructors through effective communications and quick responses. 
• Perform any tasks assigned by the Content Acquisition Lead. 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience +3 years in any of the following roles: Content Acquisition, CX Specialist, Instructor’s Recruiter, and Content Acquisition at training/educational institutes.
• Bachelor’s degree is a must, preferably in a relevant field.
• Excellent command of English.
• Familiar with the e-learning industry and the relevant market platforms.
• Good knowledge of content categories and content design. 
• Passionate about education and e-learning experience. 
• Previous experience working at a startup is a plus. 
• ​​Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve the Content Acquisition strategies.
• Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
