Senior Translator

Translator Job Duties

Reads through or listens to material in (english or arabic) language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a second language(english or arabic), making sure to preserve the original meaning format and tone

Check and validate given material to edit and fix in terms of grammar, format and tone

Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialised concepts and translate them appropriately

Refers to online translation tools for additional assistance with translation

Follows up with colleagues to ensure satisfaction and understanding

Adheres to industry quality standards established to ensure that all completed work follows legal and ethical obligations

Translates a variety of documents including literary, legal, research, technical, scientific, educational, and commercial materials. And adjust the translated material according to the target audience.

Resolve issues associated with translation, localizations and culture in the given material.

Performs other related duties as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree, Fluency in arabic and English languages.

Written and Verbal Communication.

very good Understanding of Grammar.

Knowledge of Specific Subjects.

Knowledge of the translation process, 

localization techniques, guidelines and standards.

Excellent translation.
