.Net Developer

We are looking for a motivated .NET Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception, Development to deployment.

The position will be based at Union Coop’s Research & Development Center in Egypt.

• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding web/mobile apps.
• Use and adapt existing web applications for API consumption.
• Develop client displays and user interfaces.
• Assist Union Coop’s teams in handling project-related work and other requirements.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other software professionals and developers.

• BSc. in Computer Science or a related degree.
• Very good English communication skills (spoken and written).
• 3-5 years of development experience using C# .NET.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Very good organizational, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Must:

• Experience with object-oriented Design & Programming.
• Knowledge in basic engineering concepts like Data Structure and Algorithms.
• Experience in C# & .Net Framework.
• Experience in ASP.Net (MVC).
• Experience in web services and web APIs (REST, RPC).
• Experience in implementing multi-threading code and asynchronous operations.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, mainly MS-SQL Server.

Good to have:

• Experience in applying effective unit tests.
• MCSD or MCPD certified
• Familiar with Retail system
• Familiar with .Net Core.
• Familiar with service stack.
• Experience in Web Client-side frameworks (Angular, etc …), and languages (HTML5/CSS3).
• Experience in Git, TFS
