Air Freight Coordinator

The Candidate should have knowledge about handling Air Export shipments:

• Gathering airline  freight rates and negotiate till getting the best Frt. /terms / conditions.
• Negotiating the best rates with Truckers, Customs clearance agents & follow up with them to ensure smooth handling for our client shipments.
• Prepare & send offers to our targeted clients.
• Following up with clients till getting the shipment.   
• Coordinating with our client to arrange trucking .
• Send shipping declarations to the airlines or their agents  .
• Checking the AWB received from the airline or its agent  to match the client’s shipping declaration.
• Issuing HAWB
• Issuing our invoices to our clients.
• Co-operating with our Financial Dept. to ensure that the clients settle our invoices on time.

The Candidate should have knowledge about handling Air Import shipments:

• Gathering the agents’ freight rates and negotiate till getting the best Frt. /terms / conditions.
• Sending our offers to our targeted clients. Following up till getting the shipment.    
• Ordering the agents to handle the  import shipment based on the required shipping terms as show in our shipping instructions.
• Negotiating the best rates with Truckers & Customs Clearance agents & follow up with them to ensure smooth handling of our client shipments.
• Checking the agents invoices before ordering the Financial Dept. to settle them.
• Issuing the delivery order upon the shipment’s arrival to the airport.
• Issuing the invoices to our client.
• Co-operating with our  Financial Dept. to ensure collecting the issued invoices on time..

• The candidate should have min 5 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding field,
• Passed  IATA DANGEROUS GOODS COURSE,
• Has a good command of English language.
